Replacement of support steelwork for overhead conveyor system

Project: Replaced support steelwork for an overhead conveyor system out of business hours
Client: Client in the Automotive Industry
Sector: Automotive
Key Elements: Design, Manufacture, Install, Fabrication

Our team at Alfa Industrial recently carried out work on replacing support steelwork on an overhead conveyor system, ahead of a later shutdown to replace the entire conveyor system.

This crucial project for a client operating in the automotive industry made sure that essential equipment was operating as needed, and helped to prevent mechanical failure that was much more likely should the preemptive work not have been carried out.

Our expert design team carried out their initial redesign work using Solidworks, before our steelwork fabricators completed the on-site aspect of the project in accordance with EN1090. We agreed with our client to carry the steelwork fabrication work out in batches, out of usual business hours and during the weekend. This was to make sure that the business could carry on as normal during the week, and help everyday operations continue as usual.
